Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 6, 2026

The short version: This website collects only the contact details you choose to give us through the inquiry form so we can get back to you about scheduling. We don't sell your information, we don't run advertising trackers, and we ask you not to send health details through this site.

Who we are

Speechfully is a private-pay pediatric speech therapy practice owned and operated by Sumia Adely, M.S., CCC-SLP, serving The Villages, Florida and surrounding communities, along with teletherapy across the state of Florida. This policy covers the website at speechfullytherapy.com. It does not cover care delivered to established clients, which is governed separately by our Notice of Privacy Practices.

What we collect

We collect information in two ways.

Information you give us

When you submit the inquiry form, we receive:

That's the whole list. The form deliberately does not ask for your child's name, age, diagnosis, or any description of their communication needs.

Please don't include health information in the inquiry form. We'll discuss your child's needs securely during your consultation, over a channel built for that purpose.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider records standard server data such as IP addresses, browser type, and pages requested. This is used for security and to keep the site running. We do not use advertising cookies, behavioral tracking pixels, or third-party analytics profiling.

How we use it

We use what you send us to respond to your inquiry, schedule a consultation, and answer questions about services and availability. We also use it to keep records of who has contacted the practice.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We do not use it for advertising, and we don't add you to marketing lists you didn't ask to join.

Who else touches your information

Two service providers process form submissions on our behalf:

Both are bound by their own privacy commitments. We may also disclose information where required by law, or where necessary to protect the safety of a child or another person.

How long we keep it

Inquiry submissions are retained while we're in contact with you and for a reasonable period afterward in case you get back in touch. If you'd like your inquiry deleted, email us and we'll remove it.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you what information we hold about you, correct anything that's wrong, or delete it entirely. Email us and we'll take care of it. There's no form to fill out and no cost.

Children's privacy

This website is written for parents and caregivers, not children. We don't knowingly collect information directly from anyone under 13 through this site. If you believe a child has submitted information here, contact us and we'll delete it.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and the email account receiving inquiries is protected with two-factor authentication. No system is perfectly secure, which is exactly why we ask you to keep health details out of the inquiry form.

A note about HIPAA

This privacy policy describes how the website handles information. It is not our Notice of Privacy Practices. Once you become a client, protected health information is handled under HIPAA and under our separate Notice of Privacy Practices, which we'll provide to you directly.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of the page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated version.
